The Client Support Engineer position at Verinext is a vital role within their IT Service Desk team, focusing on delivering exceptional technical support to end users. Based in Duluth, GA, this position requires on-site presence Monday-Thursday and involves managing support requests through both phone and ticketing systems. The role encompasses desktop support for Windows and Apple systems, incident triage, security alert management, and maintaining detailed documentation.

The ideal candidate should bring 2+ years of customer support experience, strong technical knowledge of Windows and Apple operating systems, and excellent problem-solving abilities. They should be comfortable with remote desktop tools, ticketing systems, and basic network security concepts. Professional certifications like CompTIA A+ or Microsoft Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator are preferred.

Responsibilities For Client Support Engineer

  • Respond to and manage incoming support requests via phone and ticketing system
  • Provide technical support for end users on both Windows and Apple systems
  • Handle service requests efficiently
  • Perform initial triage of incidents
  • Strive to resolve issues during the initial contact
  • Conduct the initial triage of security alerts
  • Accurately document all actions taken in the ticketing system
  • Provide a high level of customer service

Requirements For Client Support Engineer

Linux
  • Minimum of 2 years in a customer support or service desk role
  • Experience with desktop support for Windows and Apple systems
  • Strong knowledge of Windows and Apple operating systems
  • Familiarity with remote desktop tools and ticketing systems
  • Basic understanding of network and security concepts
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Preferred: CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator, or equivalent certifications
