Description For Client Support Engineer

Verinext is seeking a Client Support Engineer to join their IT Service Desk team in Duluth, GA. This role is critical for providing exceptional technical support to end users, handling support requests through phone and ticketing systems, and managing service requests. The position requires strong technical skills in Windows and Apple systems support, along with excellent customer service abilities. The role involves working onsite Monday-Thursday, with possible shift work including nights and weekends. The ideal candidate will have 2+ years of experience in customer support, strong technical knowledge, and preferably relevant certifications. Responsibilities For Client Support Engineer

  • Respond to and manage incoming support requests via phone and ticketing system
  • Provide technical support for end users on both Windows and Apple systems
  • Handle service requests efficiently
  • Perform initial triage of incidents
  • Resolve issues during initial contact when possible
  • Conduct initial triage of security alerts
  • Document all actions taken in the ticketing system
  • Provide high level of customer service

Requirements For Client Support Engineer

  • Minimum of 2 years in a customer support or service desk role
  • Experience with desktop support for Windows and Apple systems
  • Strong knowledge of Windows and Apple operating systems
  • Familiarity with remote desktop tools and ticketing systems
  • Basic understanding of network and security concepts
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator, or equivalent certifications (Preferred)
