Description For Automation Engineer / Senior Automation Engineer

Verista is seeking an Automation Engineer / Senior Automation Engineer to join their team. The role involves designing and implementing key automation aspects of equipment projects, including PLC, vision, and HMI programming. Responsibilities include change management, understanding client's quality standards and regulatory requirements, verifying testing against specifications, and supporting documentation efforts. The ideal candidate will have 2-4 years of experience as an Automation Engineer, GMP knowledge, and the ability to work on-site in Indianapolis, IN.

Key responsibilities:

  • Design and implement automation aspects of equipment projects
  • Troubleshoot and detect issues in IT-centric systems
  • Manage change control authoring and execution
  • Perform complex quality checks on machine control systems
  • Contribute to project completion and lead small project teams
  • Generate and develop standard operating procedures
  • Provide 24/7/365 support for automation systems

Requirements:

  • 2-4 years of experience as an Automation Engineer
  • GMP and Good Documentation Practice knowledge
  • Experience in creating SQL databases and working with IT
  • Ability to read logic, perform programming, and update control system documentation
  • Understanding of domain authentication and Citrix applications

Responsibilities For Automation Engineer / Senior Automation Engineer

  • Design and implement key automation aspects of equipment projects
  • Troubleshoot and detect issues in IT-centric systems
  • Manage change control authoring and execution
  • Perform independent verification of testing against specifications
  • Author and execute technical commissioning, qualification, and validation documentation
  • Design and configure PLC programs
  • Lead complex quality checks on machine control systems
  • Contribute to project completion and lead small project teams
  • Monitor and complete periodic reviews and validation master plans
  • Perform routine and preventive maintenance work
  • Generate and develop standard operating procedures
  • Analyze operational process problems and recommend corrective actions
  • Provide 24/7/365 support for automation systems
  • Modify complex control logic

Requirements For Automation Engineer / Senior Automation Engineer

  • 2-4 years of experience as an Automation Engineer
  • GMP and Good Documentation Practice knowledge
  • Experience in creating SQL databases

  • Experience in working with IT to schedule implementations
