Description For Automation Engineer / Senior Automation Engineer

Verista is seeking an experienced Automation Engineer with DeltaV expertise to oversee commissioning and qualification efforts, ensuring automation systems meet project and regulatory compliance standards required for production readiness. The role involves managing document control, overseeing commissioning phase deliverables, and executing qualification and validation processes.

Key responsibilities include:

  1. Document Control: Managing the lifecycle of all project-related documents for automation and commissioning activities.
  2. Commissioning Phase Deliverables: Generating and overseeing system-based commissioning schedules, system boundaries documentation, vendor management documentation, FAT reports, receipt verification, and SAT.
  3. Execution Phase Deliverables: Developing and managing IQ, OQ, and PQ protocols and reports, change management documentation, traceability assessment, and EHS documentation.
  4. Additional responsibilities include regular project reporting, cross-functional collaboration, and vendor management.

Requirements For Automation Engineer / Senior Automation Engineer

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in automation engineering, specifically with DeltaV systems, within a GMP-regulated environment
  • Proficiency in DeltaV systems and experience with electronic documentation systems
  • Strong communication, documentation, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a dynamic, team-oriented environment
