Verista is seeking an experienced Automation Engineer to join their team. The role involves programming automated equipment, including vision systems, high-speed mechanical assembly lines, and Fanuc robotics, primarily supporting Cartridge Handling and Syringe Tray Handling platforms.
Key responsibilities include:
- Providing automation/mechanical technical support for troubleshooting during commissioning and qualification
- Executing commissioning and qualification testing on equipment
- Supporting integration of production lines with site automation systems
- Performing source code review and code management
- Updating technical design documentation
- Supporting site engineering initiatives
- Serving as a key resource for site engineering groups
- Communicating continuous improvement solutions
The ideal candidate will have:
- A Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent experience
- Experience with automated equipment programming
- Knowledge of pharmaceutical manufacturing (preferred)
- Ability to program Rockwell PLC and FactoryTalk HMI/SCADA systems
- Strong communication skills
