Description For Automation Engineer / Senior Automation Engineer

Verista is seeking an experienced Automation Engineer to join their team. The role involves programming automated equipment, including vision systems, high-speed mechanical assembly lines, and Fanuc robotics, primarily supporting Cartridge Handling and Syringe Tray Handling platforms.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing automation/mechanical technical support for troubleshooting during commissioning and qualification
  • Executing commissioning and qualification testing on equipment
  • Supporting integration of production lines with site automation systems
  • Performing source code review and code management
  • Updating technical design documentation
  • Supporting site engineering initiatives
  • Serving as a key resource for site engineering groups
  • Communicating continuous improvement solutions

The ideal candidate will have:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent experience
  • Experience with automated equipment programming
  • Knowledge of pharmaceutical manufacturing (preferred)
  • Ability to program Rockwell PLC and FactoryTalk HMI/SCADA systems
  • Strong communication skills
