Description For Automation Engineer / Senior Automation Engineer

Verista is seeking an Automation Engineer / Senior Automation Engineer to join their team. This role is responsible for designing and implementing key automation aspects of equipment projects, including PLC, vision, and HMI programming. The ideal candidate will have strong IT skills for troubleshooting and issue detection, and will be responsible for change management, understanding client quality standards, and supporting validation efforts.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Designing and implementing automation for equipment projects
  • Supporting change management programs
  • Authoring and executing technical documentation
  • PLC programming and configuration
  • Leading complex quality checks
  • Contributing to project completion and team leadership
  • Maintaining and developing automation systems
  • Providing 24/7 support for automation systems

Requirements:

  • 2-4 years of experience as an Automation Engineer
  • Experience with SQL databases, domain authentication, and IT implementations
  • Knowledge of GMP and Good Documentation Practice
  • Ability to read and modify control logic and HMI graphics
  • Experience with validation protocols for automation systems

Responsibilities For Automation Engineer / Senior Automation Engineer

  • Design and implement key automation aspects of equipment projects
  • PLC, vision, and HMI programming
  • General Change management
  • Understand client's quality standards and regulatory standards
  • Independent verification of testing against specifications
  • Author and execute technical commissioning, qualification and validation documentation
  • Design and PLC programming on standard equipment/products
  • Lead complex quality checks
  • Contribute to project completion and lead small project teams
  • Monitor and complete periodic reviews and validation master plans
  • Perform routine and preventive maintenance work
  • Analyze operational process problems and recommend corrective actions
  • Provide 24x7x365 support of automation systems
  • Modify complex control logic

Requirements For Automation Engineer / Senior Automation Engineer

  • 2-4 years of experience as an Automation Engineer
  • Experience in creating SQL databases
  • Understanding domain authentication
  • Experience in working with IT to schedule implementations
  • Able to complete software installs and/or updates
  • Experience in upgrading system requirements for servers
  • Understanding of citrix applications
  • GMP and Good Documentation Practice knowledge
  • Able to read logic and perform programming
  • Contribute technical content to validation protocols on automation systems
