Description For Automation Engineer / Senior Automation Engineer

Verista is seeking an experienced Automation Engineer with expertise in programming automated equipment, including vision systems, high-speed mechanical assembly lines, and Fanuc robotics, primarily supporting Cartridge Handling and Syringe Tray Handling platforms. The role involves project delivery support, knowledge sharing, and technical expertise in automation systems.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing automation/mechanical technical support for troubleshooting during commissioning and qualification
  • Performing source code review and code management for manufacturing equipment
  • Updating technical design documentation
  • Supporting site engineering initiatives
  • Serving as a key resource for site engineering groups
  • Communicating continuous improvement solutions

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent experience in pharmaceutical parenteral manufacturing
  • Experience with automated equipment, vision systems, and Fanuc robotics
  • Knowledge of pharmaceutical manufacturing (preferred)
  • Ability to program Rockwell PLC, FactoryTalk HMI/SCADA systems
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally
