Description For MSAT Scientist / Senior Process Engineer
Verista is seeking an MSAT Scientist / Senior Process Engineer to join their team. As a member of the MSAT Team, you will be responsible for the successful transfer of viral vector bioprocesses into GMP production. This role involves direct contact with clients and internal cross-functional teams, ensuring successful process scalability and manufacturability.
Key responsibilities include:
- Process integration during campaign preparation
- Process supervision
- Reporting during and after production campaigns
- Leading relevant major deviations
- Continuing manufacturing process improvement
The ideal candidate will have 5-10 years of experience in GMP manufacturing support, preferably in Viral Vector or Cell and Gene Therapy. Advanced knowledge of cellular biology, cell culture, scale-up, and various bioprocessing techniques is required.

Requirements For MSAT Scientist / Senior Process Engineer
- 5-10 years of experience
- GMP manufacturing support (Viral Vector or Cell and Gene Therapy preferred)
- Advanced knowledge of cellular biology, cell culture, scale up, mass transfer, bioreactor operation
- Critical thinking skills in problem solving and decision making
- Ability to explain technical problems
- Ability to independently lead small projects
- Ability to perform basic and advanced root cause analysis techniques
- Ability to perform basic risk identification and remediation
- Attention to detail and high level of accuracy
- Strong communication, technical writing, organizational and interpersonal skills
