Description For Senior Automation Engineer / Senior Automation Engineer 2

Verista is seeking a Senior Automation Engineer to join their team. This role involves providing direct coordination and integrated Automation Support within the Global Robotics Asset Portfolio. The ideal candidate will be highly versed in Allen Bradley Rockwell Controls, including Studio5000 and FactoryTalk SE applications. Experience with Fanuc Robotic systems is desired but not required.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Troubleshooting and overseeing Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) and Site Acceptance Testing (SAT)
  • Evaluating production metrics and historian data to identify issues and implement improvements
  • Modifying complex control logic requiring scientific and manufacturing process expertise
  • Contributing to project completion and leading small project teams

The role requires:

  • 5+ years of experience as an Automation Engineer (pharmaceutical environment preferred)
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools
  • Strong problem-solving, critical thinking, and communication skills
  • Experience with GMP/Validation practices
  • Willingness to travel up to 25%+ (1-2 weeks per month as needed)
