Verista is seeking a Senior Automation Engineer to provide direct coordination and integrated Automation Support within Global Robotics Asset Portfolio. The role involves ensuring required outputs are developed and delivered, including delivery to sites in Indianapolis, Raleigh Durham NC, Concord NC, Alzey Germany, and potentially other future sites.
Key responsibilities include:
- Working with Allen Bradley Rockwell Controls, including Studio5000 and FactoryTalk SE applications
- Experience with Fanuc Robotic systems (desired but not required)
- Commissioning, qualification, asset delivery, validation activities, and cGMP regulations
- Troubleshooting and overseeing Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) and Site Acceptance Testing (SAT)
- Evaluating production metrics and historian data to identify issues and implement improvements
- Traveling to client production sites up to 25%+ (1-2 weeks per month as needed)
- Modifying complex control logic requiring scientific and manufacturing process expertise
- Contributing to project completion and leading small project teams
The ideal candidate will have:
- 5+ years of experience as an Automation Engineer (pharmaceutical environment experience highly preferred)
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills
- Experience with GMP/Validation practices
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
