Verkor is seeking a Module Industrialization Engineer to join their team in Bourbourg, France. This permanent, on-site position is part of the Production – Operation Team (ENG). The ideal candidate will be responsible for product industrialization feasibility studies, interfacing with the process team, and supporting quality and volume ramp-up. Key responsibilities include executing action plans, analyzing process capabilities, and providing support during serial life. The role requires a strong background in materials science or electrochemistry, experience in Li-ion development and module manufacturing, and proficiency in various quality management tools. This position offers an opportunity to work on cutting-edge Li-ion technology and contribute to the company's growth in the renewable energy sector.
Responsibilities For Module Industrialization Engineer
- In charge of the product industrialization feasibility studies for A and B-samples
- Product interface person with process team
- Gather the module design from module technical leader
- Execute the action plan decided during sample phase design reviews
- Execute Module DoE plan
- Analyze the list of characteristics gathered from module technical leader
- Review the process design with process engineers and propose improvements
- Review the capability coverage of the process compared to the list of characteristics
- Support the quality and volume ramp up of pilot line and GF
- Analyze together with Quality team the process capabilities during ramp up and propose deviation, design change
- Support 8D from product perspective
- Alert the module technical leader when process is drifting to avoid quality crisis with the customer
- Provide support during serial life
Requirements For Module Industrialization Engineer
- MSC or PhD in materials science or electrochemistry
- Experience of Li-ion Development Project (especially industrialization)
- Experience in Li-ion module manufacturing
- DFMEA, root-cause analysis, 8D management
- APQP, 4M management
- French & English: proficient
