Description For Senior Prismatic Module & Pack Engineer

Verkor, an innovative player in the advanced battery manufacturing industry, is seeking a Senior Prismatic Module & Pack Engineer to join their Process Development Department at their Innovation Center in Grenoble, France. This role is crucial in their mission to become the world's most advanced battery manufacturing company.

The position offers an exciting opportunity to work on cutting-edge battery technology, specifically focusing on Prismatic Modules & Packs systems. The role will evolve from planning the Gigafactory line to its implementation, requiring a blend of technical expertise and strategic thinking. The successful candidate will be responsible for optimizing assembly processes, implementing automation solutions, and ensuring quality through rigorous testing and validation.

The ideal candidate brings over 10 years of experience in EV module & Pack technology, with a strong background in battery manufacturing, particularly lithium-ion battery systems. They should possess excellent project management skills and be comfortable with modern machine learning technologies. Responsibilities For Senior Prismatic Module & Pack Engineer

  • Commissioning Gigafactory module & pack process from process design to SOP
  • Collaborating with product engineering team to optimize assembly process for cell design
  • Improving assembly by increasing level of process automation
  • Testing and validating state-of-the-art technologies for assembly process
  • Completing root cause investigations into defects in assembly process

Requirements For Senior Prismatic Module & Pack Engineer

Python
  • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanic/Robotics/Electrical/or similar discipline (M.S. preferred)
  • More than 10 years of experience working with EV module & Pack technology
  • Experience in battery manufacturing environment, particularly with lithium-ion battery Module & Pack
  • Experience with battery Module & Pack process design
  • Experience with root cause analysis, defect reduction, and failure analysis
  • Strong project management skills
  • Machine learning experience (PyTorch, Keras, TensorFlow, Scikit-learn)
  • Fluency in English (Korean, French or Chinese would be beneficial)
