As a Mechanical Engineer at Vessel Technologies, you will play a crucial role in developing innovative, sustainable housing solutions. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to design and develop mechanical systems that align with our mission to revolutionize the housing industry. This role requires creativity, technical expertise, and attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop mechanical systems for prefabricated housing products using SolidWorks
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align designs with project requirements
  • Apply Design for Manufacturing (DFM) and Design for Assembly (DFA) principles
  • Perform finite element analysis (FEA) and other simulations
  • Research and recommend materials, manufacturing processes, and energy-efficient solutions
  • Lead mechanical design projects and manage timelines
  • Ensure designs comply with sustainability standards and regulations
  • Optimize mechanical systems and reduce energy consumption

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering (Master's degree is a plus)
  • 3+ years of experience in mechanical design or product development
  • Proficiency in SolidWorks
  • Experience with DFM/DFA principles
  • Strong knowledge of FEA and simulation tools
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills

  • Knowledge of sustainable design principles (preferred)
  • Excellent problem-solving skills
  • Strong communication skills
  • Project management experience
