Vestmark is seeking a Senior Cloud Engineer to join their Managed Services team, focusing on automating and delivering high-performance systems. The position requires a seasoned professional with 5+ years of experience in cloud solutions and IaaS/SaaS environments. You'll be at the forefront of implementing next-generation technology stacks and leading cloud migration initiatives. Key technical aspects include working with AWS services (IAM, EC2, ECS, RDS, S3, Lambda, VPC, Beanstalk), Terraform, Kubernetes, and various automation tools. Responsibilities For Senior Cloud Engineer
- Provide expert level design and operational best practices for AWS
- Own critical aspects of technology deployment pipeline including process automation, infrastructure readiness, monitoring, and security
- Develop scripts to automate and facilitate integration between enterprise systems
- Ensure alignment between security architecture frameworks, standards, and IT strategy
- Support cloud migration and application re-architecture
- Troubleshoot issues across the stack and assist teams in resolving advanced system issues
- Guide efforts to improve delivery of managed services
- Participate in Continuous Integration design and improvement
- Mentor team members on cloud technologies
- Perform terraform code reviews
- Contribute using Agile/Scrum framework
- Participate in off hours maintenance and escalations
Requirements For Senior Cloud Engineer
- 5+ years delivering cloud solution designs using automation tools
- 5+ years experience implementing production IaaS or SaaS environment
- Experience with AWS services (IAM, EC2, ECS, RDS, S3, Lambda, VPC, Beanstalk)
- Advanced application performance monitoring and system tuning
- AWS Solutions Architect certification or equivalent
- Familiarity with Kubernetes and container orchestration
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- BS in Computer Science, Engineering or related technical field
- Understanding of Networking and Storage principals
