Responsibilities For Senior Shopify Developer
- Writing, maintaining, and reviewing code to adhere to best practices and deliver scalable Shopify solutions
- Supporting the development team with coding, deployment processes, and client theme management tasks
- Collaborating with project managers and developers to ensure projects run smoothly
- Conducting peer reviews and code reviews
- Assisting in the creation, maintenance, and enhancement of the in-house starter theme
- Contributing to the implementation of processes that improve team efficiency
- Working closely with solutions, design, backend development, QA, and project management teams
- Providing technical specifications and documentation
- Assist with technical audits, discovery sessions, client support, and training
Requirements For Senior Shopify Developer
- Technical expertise in eCommerce industry challenges
- Excellent understanding of Shopify and its ecosystem
- Extensive experience in Shopify development with proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Liquid templating, and Shopify APIs
- Knowledge of frameworks such as Tailwind, Bootstrap, Alpine JS, and React JS
- Strong understanding of web accessibility
- Excellent understanding of website performance optimization
- Good understanding of UX and best practices
- Excellent understanding of version control within GitHub
