As our Mechanical Engineer, you'll play a crucial role in ensuring the successful development and manufacturing of our medical devices. You'll be responsible for creating and maintaining technical documentation, managing BOMs, and working closely with suppliers to ensure component quality. Your expertise in CAD tools and PLM systems will be essential in maintaining high engineering standards.

The ideal candidate brings 4-5 years of mechanical engineering experience, preferably in medical device manufacturing. You should have strong technical skills, including proficiency in CAD tools like SolidWorks or Creo, and experience with PLM systems. Your attention to detail and ability to collaborate across teams will be vital in this role.

Responsibilities For Mechanical Engineer

  • Create and maintain technical documentation, including BOMs, drawings, and assembly instructions
  • Ensure documentation meets industry standards
  • Work with suppliers and vendors for component quality and availability
  • Address design, manufacturing, or delivery issues with external partners
  • Use PLM tools to manage product data and change orders
  • Integrate documentation within PLM system
  • Collaborate with R&D, manufacturing, and quality teams
  • Participate in design reviews
  • Review mechanical designs for compliance
  • Support quality assurance and root cause analysis

Requirements For Mechanical Engineer

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
  • 4-5 years of experience in mechanical engineering roles
  • Proficiency with CAD tools (SolidWorks, Creo)
  • Experience with PLM systems
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and DFM/DFA
  • Familiarity with industry standards for technical drawings
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks in fast paced environment
