All of Viva.com's technology is built in-house over MS Azure, and is fully scalable, supporting any payment checkout journey.

The Business Intelligence and Analytics team's purpose is to improve business decisions by providing all necessary information to all sectors using data gathered both internally and externally. The team consists of highly expertised data and software engineers who build ETL Pipelines using Cloud technologies.

We are seeking a skilled Data Engineer to join our BI Reconciliation team, specializing in reconciling financial and transactional data between Viva's internal financial records and external data sources. You will be responsible for developing and maintaining data pipelines to ensure accurate and efficient reconciliation across multiple systems, identifying discrepancies, investigating and resolving mismatches, and ensuring data consistency and integrity throughout the process.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing and maintaining data pipelines for financial and transactional data reconciliation
  • Identifying, investigating, and resolving data discrepancies
  • Designing and implementing ETL processes to automate data workflows
  • Collaborating with the BI team to generate reconciliation reports and provide insights
  • Implementing and managing cloud-based data solutions
  • Ensuring compliance with regulatory standards

The ideal candidate will have strong experience with SQL, ETL processes, and fluency in programming languages such as Python. Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure), data warehousing solutions, and distributed processing frameworks is a plus.

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, or related field
  • Strong experience with SQL and database management

  • Programming skills in Python or other language
  • Experience with financial data reconciliation (preferred)
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Knowledge of regulatory compliance for financial data
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Fluent in English, both oral and written
