Data Engineer - Reconciliation Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Data Engineer to join our BI Reconciliation team, specializing in reconciling financial and transactional data between Viva's internal financial records and external data sources. You will be responsible for developing and maintaining data pipelines to ensure accurate and efficient reconciliation across multiple systems. You will identify discrepancies, investigate and resolve mismatches, and ensure data consistency and integrity throughout the process.

Key responsibilities include:

• Develop and maintain data pipelines for reconciliation of financial and transactional data
• Identify, investigate, and resolve data discrepancies
• Design and implement ETL processes to automate data workflows
• Collaborate with the BI team to generate reconciliation reports and provide insights
• Implement and manage cloud-based data solutions
• Ensure compliance with regulatory standards
• Continuously improve reconciliation systems

The ideal candidate will have strong experience with SQL, ETL processes, and fluency in programming languages such as Python. Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure), data warehousing solutions, and distributed processing frameworks is a plus.
