The Machine Learning team, part of the Business Intelligence and Analytics team, develops AI-driven solutions that improve business decision-making by leveraging both internal and external data. They are seeking a highly experienced and motivated Lead Machine Learning Engineer to guide their team of ML Engineers in designing, developing, and deploying innovative AI and ML solutions that integrate with the company's BI Ecosystem.
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing a team of ML Engineers
- Developing and deploying AI/ML solutions using Azure cloud technologies
- Designing data pipelines and implementing scalable machine learning solutions
- Leveraging Azure AI services to build advanced AI solutions
- Collaborating with other teams to align solutions with business strategy
The ideal candidate should have:
- 3+ years of experience in a similar position
- 2+ years of team leading experience
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Machine Learning or similar
- Proficiency in machine learning programming languages and cloud-based ML solutions
- Experience in designing and deploying ML models in production environments

Responsibilities For Lead Machine Learning Engineer
- Guide, inspire and manage a team of ML Engineers in developing and deploying innovative AI and ML solutions
- Work closely with the rest of the BI teams to identify and prioritize ML opportunities
- Understand business needs, define data requirements, and design data pipelines
- Develop, train, and optimize machine learning models using the latest AI/ML libraries and deploy them through Azure ML Pipelines
- Design and implement automated, scalable machine learning solutions that integrate seamlessly with existing BI infrastructure
- Leverage Azure AI services (Azure AI Search, Azure OpenAI models) to build advanced AI solutions
- Drive continuous improvement by integrating best practices, monitoring models in production, and retraining them using MLOps principles on Azure
- Stay up to date on the latest AI/ML trends and emerging technologies and apply them to our solutions
- Collaborate with other teams across the company to ensure that our solutions are aligned with the overall business strategy
- Create and maintain documentation and deliver technical training and support materials to enable AI/ML adoption across the organization
- Continually advance technical knowledge and skills
- Perform tasks in an efficient & timely manner
Requirements For Lead Machine Learning Engineer
- 3+ years of experience in a similar position, with a focus on AI and ML technologies
- 2+ years of experience in team leading
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Data Science, Machine Learning or similar
- Proficiency in machine learning programming languages (Python, R, SQL), and experience with cloud-based ML solutions
- Solid experience in designing and deploying ML models in production environments, preferably in Azure
- Excellent analytical and good problem-solving skills with a can-do attitude
- The ability to perform in a team environment and share knowledge
- Knowledge of agile methodologies and version control systems such as Git
- Fluent in English, both oral and written
