You'll be working with cutting-edge payment technologies built on MS Azure, handling everything from in-store payments to online payment gateways and marketplace solutions.
As a Lead SET, you'll be responsible for overseeing the entire testing lifecycle, from strategy development to implementation of automated testing frameworks. You'll work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure high-quality software delivery while mentoring and growing a team of test engineers. The role requires strong technical skills in Java, test automation frameworks, and CI/CD practices, combined with leadership abilities.

Responsibilities For Lead Software Engineer in Test
- Lead and mentor a team of SETs, providing technical guidance, support and performance feedback
- Manage the day-to-day activities and workload of the test team
- Develop and implement test strategies for new features, releases and products
- Oversee the design and maintenance of automated test frameworks
- Develop and maintain reusable test scripts, libraries and utilities
- Ensure automation solutions integrate with CI/CD pipelines
- Create detailed test plans and test cases for automated tests
- Monitor automated test execution and analyze results
- Establish and track key performance metrics
- Identify opportunities for test automation and process improvements
Requirements For Lead Software Engineer in Test
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or related field
- 4+ years of experience in software development, test automation or software quality engineering
- Solid understanding of software development, QA methodologies, tools and processes
- Proficiency in object-oriented programming languages (Java is preferred)
- Experience with test automation tools and frameworks (Selenium, Appium, Maven, Gradle, Cucumber)
- Experience integrating automated testing solutions with CI/CD pipelines
- Expertise in API testing tools and RESTful services
- Familiarity with SQL queries
- Knowledge of performance testing tools
- Understanding of cloud platforms and containerization technologies
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities
