As Lead SET, you'll be responsible for designing and implementing test automation frameworks, mentoring team members, and driving the adoption of advanced testing methodologies. The role requires expertise in various testing tools and frameworks, including Selenium, Appium, and API testing tools, along with strong knowledge of CI/CD practices.
The ideal candidate will have 4+ years of experience in software development or test automation, strong programming skills (particularly in Java), and experience with cloud platforms and containerization technologies. - Lead and mentor a team of SETs, providing technical guidance, support and performance feedback
- Integrate AI-powered testing tools into test automation frameworks
- Lead the adoption of AI-driven methodologies for test optimization
- Manage the day-to-day activities and workload of the test team
- Develop and implement test strategies for new features
- Oversee the design and maintenance of automated test frameworks
- Develop and maintain reusable test scripts and libraries
- Ensure automation solutions integrate with CI/CD pipelines
- Monitor automated test execution and analyze results
- Establish and track key performance metrics
- Identify opportunities for test automation and process improvements
Requirements For Lead Software Engineer in Test
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or related field
- Experience with AI-driven test automation tools like Mabl
- 4+ years of experience in software development, test automation or software quality engineering
- Solid understanding of software development, QA methodologies
- Proficiency in object-oriented programming languages (Java preferred)
- Experience with test automation tools (Selenium, Appium, Maven, Gradle, Cucumber)
- Experience integrating automated testing with CI/CD pipelines
- Expertise in API testing tools and RESTful services
