Viva.com, Europe's first acquirer powering merchant payments acceptance across 24 countries, is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer. As part of the DevOps team, you'll be responsible for deploying, monitoring, optimizing, and securing our rapidly expanding cloud infrastructure and company software. The role involves working with architects, project management leads, and engineering leads within the Technology Group.
Key responsibilities include:
- Designing, implementing, and maintaining CI/CD and IaC infrastructure
- Researching innovative technologies for efficient problem-solving
- Ensuring secure operations using DevOps methodologies
- Automating repetitive tasks to improve efficiency and reduce errors
- Monitoring processes and creating new ones for improvement
- Fostering communication between development, operations, infrastructure, and QA teams
The tech stack primarily comprises Azure cloud services, including SaaS, PaaS, and IaaS. You'll work with Windows and Linux operating systems, and use Azure DevOps as the core tool.

Responsibilities For Senior DevOps Engineer
- Design, implement, maintain, configure, and administer CI/CD and IaC infrastructure
- Research innovative technologies to find new and efficient ways to solve day-to-day challenges
- Ensure secure and efficient operations by following design principles and leveraging DevOps methodologies
- Automate repetitive tasks to make processes faster and more efficient
- Monitor processes during the entire lifecycle and create new processes for improvement
- Foster communication between development, operations, infrastructure and quality assurance teams
Requirements For Senior DevOps Engineer
- BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering (or a proven strong background)
- 5+ years of demonstrable experience as a DevOps Engineer, with prior experience in a senior role
- Profound understanding of Microsoft Azure services
- In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Windows server administration and Linux server administration (Ubuntu, Debian)
- Expertise in container technologies (Docker, OpenShift) and orchestrators (Docker Swarm, Kubernetes)
- Substantial experience in automation scripting (Shell/Bash scripting, PowerShell, Python)
- Deep understanding of versioning and revision control, preferably Git
- Analytical and troubleshooting skills on large-scale distributed systems
- Strong experience with multiple industry-standard CI/CD platforms
- Solid knowledge of build automation platforms such as Maven and Gradle
- Strong analytical and excellent problem-solving skills with a self-driven and solution-oriented attitude
