Software Engineer in Test

Viva.com is seeking a Software Engineer in Test (SET) to design, develop, and execute automated test frameworks and tools, ensuring the quality and reliability of software applications. The role involves close collaboration with software development, DevOps, and QA teams to improve testing efficiency, coverage, and overall product quality.

Key responsibilities include:

• Designing and maintaining scalable automated test frameworks
• Collaborating on test plans and cases
• Integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines
• Performing manual testing when necessary
• Identifying and tracking software defects
• Participating in code reviews
• Analyzing test results and tracking quality metrics
• Identifying opportunities for test automation and process improvements

The ideal candidate will have:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or related field
• 2+ years of experience in software development or test automation
• Strong understanding of QA methodologies and tools
• Proficiency in object-oriented programming (Java preferred)
• Experience with test automation tools (Selenium, Appium, etc.)
• Familiarity with CI tools and version control systems
• Experience with defect tracking and test case management tools
• Knowledge of API testing tools and RESTful services
• SQL query writing skills
• Strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills
