Description For Platform Engineer - FMV/Edge Data Support Project Manager (TSSCI)

VivSoft is seeking a Platform Engineer to serve as a technical bridge between government and contractors, focusing on data coordination and system interoperability. This role combines technical expertise with project management, particularly in Full Motion Video (FMV) and edge data support. The position offers an opportunity to work with cutting-edge technologies in the federal space, specifically supporting DoD and intelligence community initiatives.

The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in managing data proliferation, implementing new technologies, and ensuring smooth communication between various stakeholders. You'll be working with a diverse team of strategists, engineers, and designers who build secure Software Factories based on DoD reference designs and NIST Frameworks.

Key aspects of the role include coordinating operational data collection, managing data sanitization processes, updating labeling ontologies, and working with academia to improve labeling pipelines. You'll also be responsible for communicating with various teams, attending conferences, and providing updates to senior leadership.

This position requires a TSSCI clearance and offers a hybrid work environment in Washington D.C., combining remote work with on-site presence. Responsibilities For Platform Engineer - FMV/Edge Data Support Project Manager (TSSCI)

  • Coordinate with prime integrator to collect operational data
  • Support preprocessing of data through sanitization process
  • Update labeling ontology with the Data team
  • Assist PMO Data lead in vendor meetings
  • Work with academia to integrate new ideas into labeling pipeline
  • Review data and metadata to recommend new methods
  • Communicate requirements with FMV team
  • Attend conferences and update senior leaders
  • Support updates to leadership on labeling pipeline changes

Requirements For Platform Engineer - FMV/Edge Data Support Project Manager (TSSCI)

  • Must have TSSCI clearance
  • Bachelor's degree in Data Analytics, Business Intelligence, GIS, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
  • Specialized FMV/PED experience in the IC or DOD
  • Experience leading product focused cross-functional teams
  • Experience advising stakeholders on complex issues
  • Experience navigating ambiguity and building coalitions
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
