Technical Support Engineer - VCF CMBU

VMware by Broadcom is seeking a Level 3 Technical Support Engineer for their VCF Division. This role involves learning VMware by Broadcom vSphere technology to help customers troubleshoot and overcome challenges in complex environments. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of industry experience in the Virtualization domain and be passionate about learning new technology and solving complex problems.

Key responsibilities include:

• Resolving customer technical issues and providing world-class support
• Troubleshooting and researching issues using labs, log bundles, and knowledge bases
• Partnering with Engineering, Field Teams, and Technical experts
• Updating and creating knowledge articles
• Strengthening technical skills in Cloud Management platforms like Aria Suite and vCloud Director

The role requires familiarity with:

• Clustering Technologies (MS Cluster Server, RedHat clustering, Oracle RAC)
• Database administration and troubleshooting (MS SQL, Oracle, Postgres, MariaDB)

The position is based in VMware by Broadcom's Bangalore office and requires working Friday to Tuesday with flexibility to work in any shift (including PST). The team structure includes engineers at different levels (L1, L2, and L3) supporting Aria suite of products in a 24x7 support structure.
