Senior Game Developer - Match3 Venture

This Senior Game Developer position is Barcelona-based or fully remote within CET +/-2h. The role is part of the Live games team, focusing on delivering higher engagement on existing and successful games. Voodoo is expanding beyond hypercasual and hybridcasual markets into the casual Match-3 space, aiming to release the next $1B Match 3 game.

Key responsibilities include:

• Creating innovative hit games
• Writing robust code for millions of users
• Deconstructing, analyzing, and adapting mobile game mechanics
• Supporting and contributing new ideas to game features
• Fleshing out game design details, overseeing testing, and revising games based on player feedback

The ideal candidate should have:

• Advanced Unity knowledge (5+ years)
• Experience in complex gameplay mechanics, AI systems, and custom tools development
• Skills in identifying and optimizing performance bottlenecks
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines (a plus)
• Experience with analytics-driven development and A/B testing in live games
• Good sense of gameplay experience and attention to detail
• Fluency in English
• Track record with successful mobile games
• Professional game development experience
