Vortexa, a tech scale-up, is seeking its first IT Support Engineer to join the IT Team. The ideal candidate will be highly self-motivated and enjoy a hands-on approach with operational and technical aspects of IT. Key responsibilities include leading IT onboarding for new joiners and providing 1st line support for a global team.
The role requires strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent communication abilities, and extensive knowledge in supporting devices/endpoints (MacOS & Windows). Experience with helpdesk software like Jira Service Management, Google Workspace, and Office365 is essential. The candidate will handle onboarding/offboarding processes, maintain asset registers, diagnose hardware issues, and work independently and with team members to deliver project goals.
Additional desirable skills include experience with migrating from Google Workspace to Office365, supporting AV setups (Microsoft Teams & Logitech Rally), using Microsoft Intune, and working in organizations with large software engineering teams.
