Responsibilities For Natural Gas Engineer

  • Monitor task budget and progress
  • Work with and mentor junior design team
  • Prepare computer-generated natural gas pipeline and mechanical working drawings
  • Generate bill of materials
  • Create estimated time requirements for projects
  • Coordinate with sub-contractors and vendors
  • Conduct on-site field walks as needed
  • Prepare project status and other reports
  • Assist with the preparation of proposals
  • Attend client, public, project and staff meetings
  • Grow and maintain excellent client relations
  • Maintain a safe working environment

Requirements For Natural Gas Engineer

  • Bachelor's Degree in civil or other related engineering program
  • 10+ years of similar work experience
  • Self-motivated
  • Excellent writing, organizational, and communication skills
  • Experience with design and construction of natural gas pipelines
