This role offers a hybrid work environment and requires a licensed Professional Engineer with 10-15 years of experience in water and wastewater treatment systems. The position demands expertise in large-scale piping, valve, pumping systems, and treatment technologies.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for technical planning, biological process design, and mechanical design support for various water and wastewater treatment projects. They will prepare engineering calculations, run process models, and develop construction plans while maintaining excellent client relations.

Responsibilities For Process Engineer
- Provide technical planning, biological process and mechanical design for water and wastewater treatment projects
- Prepare engineering calculations and run process models
- Prepare design reports and construction plans for treatment plants
- Prepare/assist with specifications and permit submittals
- Monitor task budget and progress
- Conduct on-site inspections and technical guidance
- Prepare project status reports
- Attend client, public, project and staff meetings
- Maintain excellent client relations
- Participate in professional organizations
- Publish and present papers at conferences
Requirements For Process Engineer
- Bachelor's degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering
- Licensed Professional Engineer required
- 10-15 years of related experience required
- Experience working with large-scale piping, valve, pumping systems, and treatment technologies
- Demonstrated knowledge of water and wastewater treatment facilities
- Experience developing detailed design plans for treatment projects
- Expertise in conventional activated sludge wastewater treatment processes
- Strong written and verbal skills
