Responsibilities For Professional Engineer/Project Manager

  • Provide oversight of construction staff in Traverse City and Gaylord offices
  • Manage day-to-day construction duties, scheduling, field support, and client contact
  • Manage CM inspection staff and delivery of daily inspection reports
  • Review construction work progress and ensure compliance with plans and specifications
  • Manage Contractor payment process
  • Responsible for site safety and permit condition compliance
  • Generate project correspondence and respond to Contractor inquiries
  • Act as liaison to design staff
  • Collaborate with project delivery team and technical experts
  • Mentor and supervise less experienced staff
  • Review design and bidding documents
  • Lead development of construction management pursuits and proposals
  • Design civil projects including water mains, sewers, roads, and bridges
  • Prepare and review engineer estimates
  • Monitor task budget and progress
  • Maintain client relations

Requirements For Professional Engineer/Project Manager

  • Bachelor's Degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering
  • Professional Engineer (PE) registration
  • 10+ years of design experience
  • Excellent technical writing skills
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
