Responsibilities For Structural Restoration Engineer
- Perform condition assessments, investigations, field testing, and construction observations
- Analyze field data and perform structural analysis via hand calculations or computer modeling
- Prepare technical reports for clients
- Prepare design documents including project drawings and specifications
- Assist in project coordination and meetings with internal team members
- Review project submittals and shop drawings
- Perform engineering site visits during construction
Requirements For Structural Restoration Engineer
- Bachelor's degree in structural/civil/architectural engineering from ABET-accredited institution
- EIT status preferred
- Strong technical communication skills (written and verbal)
- Proficient knowledge and experience using Revit
- Proficient in using MS Office suite
- Familiarity using finite element modeling software (SAP, ETABS, etc.)
- Ability to work in the office and field, including climbing ladders, walking on roofs, and riding on swing stages
