We're seeking a hands-on Backend Engineer to join our DeepUI group, developing WalkMe's revolutionary runtime engine and transforming online experiences for millions of users. As a Backend Engineer on the Algorithm team, you'll design and build cutting-edge back-end solutions for GUI perception, implement scalable end-to-end solutions, and participate in fast-paced research while running in production. You'll help shape WalkMe's engineering culture and develop features used daily by key stakeholders.
We're looking for passionate individuals with a B.Sc. in Computer Science, 3+ years of professional software development experience, and expertise in Node.js, distributed systems, and microservices architecture. Experience with PostgreSQL or SQL databases and AWS cloud infrastructure is required.

Responsibilities For Backend Engineer - Algorithm team
- Design and build the latest back-end solutions to the exciting and rapidly evolving domain of GUI perception
- Implement and own end to end solutions that will scale to millions of users
- Participate in fast-paced research while running in production
- Help build WalkMe's engineering culture
- End to end development of features and systems that are used daily by key stakeholders, both internally and externally
- Advance the world one step closer to Artificial General Intelligence
Requirements For Backend Engineer - Algorithm team
- B.Sc. degree in Computer Science from leading university
- 3+ years of professional software development and technical leadership experience
- 3+ years experience with server-side development in Node.js
- Experience in designing and developing large distributed system and microservices architecture
- Experience working with PostgreSQL or other SQL based Databases
- Experience working with AWS cloud infrastructure
