Description For DevOps Engineer

WalkMe, a pioneer in Digital Adoption Platforms (DAP), is seeking a DevOps Engineer to join their Cloud Engineering team. This role is crucial in developing WalkMe's revolutionary runtime engine and transforming the online experience for hundreds of millions of users.

As a DevOps Engineer, you'll be responsible for:

  • Managing deployment pipelines for efficient software releases
  • Implementing and maintaining observability solutions
  • Supporting local development environments
  • Aligning infrastructure with project requirements
  • Enhancing security measures
  • Developing automation scripts and tools
  • Troubleshooting infrastructure and application issues
  • Evaluating and integrating new technologies

The ideal candidate should have:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
  • 2+ years of experience in a similar role
  • Software development experience, preferably in a startup or top tech firm
  • Expertise in CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation (e.g., Gitlab)
  • Proficiency in AWS cloud platform
  • Knowledge of containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes)
  • Experience with monitoring tools (Datadog, Prometheus, Grafana)
  • Familiarity with infrastructure-as-code tools (Terraform, CloudFormation)
  • Database management skills (MySQL, Postgres, MongoDB)
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills
