Responsibilities For DevSecOps Engineer
- Promote strong security culture and best practices
- Implement security countermeasures on infrastructure and applications
- Secure and optimize cloud services for security and compliance
- Establish DevSecOps best practices within CI/CD pipelines
- Automate security controls deployment
- Develop strategies for threat detection and risk mitigation
- Collaborate with Security, Engineering, and DevOps teams
Requirements For DevSecOps Engineer
- 2+ years experience in Cloud SaaS environment
- Experience with AWS cloud architectures and containerized environments
- Knowledge of cybersecurity trends and best practices
- Expertise in DevOps practices: CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code
- Strong sense of ownership and communication skills
- Shift-left security mindset
- Ability to learn new security technologies
- Scripting experience in Python, Shell scripting or Powershell
- Experience with monitoring systems (Datadog and New Relic)
- Strong self-management and multitasking skills
