Description For Sales Engineer

WalkMe, the pioneer of the Digital Adoption Platform (DAP), is seeking a Sales Engineer to join their team. This role, also known as a Solution Consultant or Pre-sales Consultant, is crucial in the sales process. You'll provide expert knowledge on WalkMe's DAP, aligning customer business goals with platform capabilities.

As a Sales Engineer, you'll:

  • Discover customer needs and demonstrate WalkMe as the best solution
  • Communicate value to C-level executives and lead technical discussions with IT
  • Contribute to "Go To Market" strategies and collaborate with GTM teams
  • Conduct demos, workshops, and custom Proof of Concepts (PoCs)
  • Respond to RFIs and RFPs
  • Support marketing events as a speaker

The ideal candidate has:

  • Success in solution engineering or enterprise software delivery
  • Strong SaaS experience
  • Excellent communication skills for executive and technical audiences
  • Quick learning ability for new technologies
  • Fluency in German and English

Responsibilities For Sales Engineer

  • Discover customer needs and establish WalkMe as the best solution
  • Deliver value pitches to C-Level executives and lead technical discussions with IT
  • Contribute to WalkMe's 'Go To Market' strategies
  • Collaborate with GTM teams to architect solutions
  • Install, configure, and troubleshoot solutions
  • Conduct demos, workshops, and custom Proof of Concepts (PoCs)
  • White board business concepts and technical architectures
  • Respond to RFIs and RFPs
  • Contribute field knowledge for future product enhancements
  • Support Marketing events as a speaker
  • Travel as required

Requirements For Sales Engineer

  • Track record of success in solution engineering or enterprise software delivery
  • Strong practical experience in SaaS solutions
  • Ability to assess customer requirements and demonstrate solutions
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
  • Quick learner for new technologies
  • Fluency in German and English
  • Ability to work in an office environment at least 3 days a week
