Walmart Global Tech is seeking a Principal Software Engineer to join their Marketplace Engineering team in Sunnyvale, California. The position offers an opportunity to work on systems that process millions of requests daily, managing the entire seller lifecycle and delivering high-value insights to sellers. As a Principal Engineer, you'll be responsible for architecting large-scale systems while maintaining 99.99% uptime and sub-second latencies. The role requires expertise in Java, strong knowledge of algorithms and data structures, and extensive experience with cloud applications and microservices architecture.

The Marketplace Engineering team is at the forefront of enabling third-party sellers on walmart.com, working to deliver vast selection at competitive prices with best-in-class customer experience. You'll be part of a team that manages the entire seller lifecycle, monitors customer experience, and delivers valuable insights to sellers for optimizing their assortment, pricing, and inventory.

The position offers competitive compensation ranging from $143,000 to $286,000 annually, plus performance bonuses and stock options.
