Wanderlog is seeking a Full-Stack Software Engineer to join their travel-focused technology company. Founded in 2019 by twin brothers with experience from Stripe, McKinsey, and Google, Wanderlog has grown to serve millions of travelers monthly with their top-ranked trip planning app.

The role offers an opportunity to work on meaningful projects that make travel more accessible. You'll be part of a team of 8, including 7 engineers from prestigious institutions. The position involves full-stack development using modern technologies like TypeScript, React, React Native, and Node.js/Express.

As an engineer at Wanderlog, you'll own significant portions of the product, from building new features to designing solutions that help travelers. You'll work on exciting projects like AI-powered tools, mobile app optimization, and collaboration features. Responsibilities For Full-Stack Software Engineer (2+ years experience: Canada)

  • Build new features on website and mobile app
  • Design and decide what to build based on traveler needs and growth
  • Build data pipelines to crawl, process, and synthesize data
  • Write tests and build engineering infrastructure
  • Debug and fix bugs and scale infrastructure
  • Review code written by other engineers
  • Build features efficiently with consideration for technical debt
