Description For Full-Stack Software Engineer

Wanderlog is revolutionizing the travel planning space as the top-ranked trip planner on iOS and Android. Founded in 2019 by twin brothers with impressive backgrounds from Stripe, McKinsey, and Google, the company has grown to serve millions of travelers monthly. The engineering team of 7, alongside 1 designer, comes from prestigious institutions like MIT, University of Toronto, and UC Berkeley.

As a Full-Stack Software Engineer, you'll be integral to building and owning product features across their JavaScript (TypeScript) stack, utilizing React for web, React Native for mobile, and Node.js/Express for the backend. The role combines technical expertise with product thinking, as you'll be involved in everything from feature design to implementation.

The position offers exciting opportunities to work on diverse projects, from AI-powered tools for content summarization to performance optimization for Android devices. The company values work-life balance and promotes a culture of travel, with twice-annual travel offsites that combine team bonding with product testing.

Working at Wanderlog means joining a self-sustaining, default-alive startup that's passionate about making travel accessible to more people. The team emphasizes putting travelers first, end-to-end product ownership, and moving fast while building smart. Their collaborative environment includes regular team lunches and a culture that supports personal growth through travel experiences.

The compensation package of $110K-$170K reflects their commitment to attracting experienced talent, while the remote work option provides flexibility. If you're passionate about travel, technical excellence, and want to join a growing startup that's making a real impact in the travel industry, this role offers an excellent opportunity to shape the future of travel planning.
