Description For Full-Stack Software Engineer (New and recent graduates: Canada)

Wanderlog is an innovative travel planning platform founded in 2019 by twin brothers Peter Xu and Harry Yu. The company has developed the top-ranked trip planner on iOS and Android, helping millions of travelers monthly plan and organize their journeys. The team consists of 8 members, including 7 engineers from prestigious institutions and 1 designer.

As a Full-Stack Software Engineer, you'll join a product-driven team working on various aspects of the travel planning ecosystem. The role involves building features using TypeScript, React, React Native, and Node.js, while also working on data pipelines and infrastructure. You'll have the opportunity to work directly with founders who have experience from companies like Stripe, Google, and McKinsey.

The company values work-life balance and has a strong travel-focused culture, with twice-annual travel offsites. They're looking for candidates who combine technical expertise with a passion for travel and product development. The position offers equity compensation and the opportunity to work remotely within Canadian time zones.

What makes this role unique is the combination of technical challenges and direct impact on travelers' experiences. You'll be working on features ranging from AI-powered tools to mobile app optimization, all while being part of a self-sustaining startup that's making travel more accessible to people worldwide.
