Description For Full-Stack Software Engineer (New and recent graduates: Canada)

Wanderlog is an innovative travel planning platform founded in 2019 by twin brothers Peter Xu and Harry Yu. The company has grown to become the top-ranked trip planner on iOS and Android, serving millions of travelers monthly. The engineering-driven team consists of 8 members, including 7 engineers from prestigious institutions like MIT, University of Toronto, and UC Berkeley.

As a Full-Stack Software Engineer, you'll join a dynamic environment where you'll own significant portions of the product. The tech stack is modern, utilizing TypeScript/JavaScript with React for web, React Native for mobile, and Node.js/Express for the backend. The role combines technical expertise with product thinking, as you'll be involved in feature design, implementation, and decision-making processes.

The company culture emphasizes work-life balance and a genuine passion for travel. The team regularly participates in travel offsites, combining work with exploration of new destinations. The founders bring extensive experience from companies like Stripe, McKinsey, and Google, creating an environment that combines the best practices from these organizations.

What makes this role unique is the opportunity to work on meaningful projects that directly impact millions of travelers, from AI-powered tools to user-friendly booking interfaces. The position offers both technical growth and product ownership, with the chance to work closely with founders who have a proven track record in both technology and travel industries.

For engineers who are passionate about travel and want to make a real impact in how people explore the world, this role offers an excellent opportunity to join a successful, self-sustaining startup that's making travel more accessible to everyone.
