Description For Full-Stack Software Engineer (New & recent graduates: United States)

Wanderlog is an innovative travel planning platform founded in 2019 by twin brothers Peter Xu and Harry Yu. The company has developed the top-ranked trip planner on iOS and Android, helping travelers plan their journeys, book hotels without hidden fees, and access comprehensive travel information. The engineering team consists of 7 engineers from prestigious institutions like MIT, UC Berkeley, and the University of Toronto, plus 1 designer.

As a Full-Stack Software Engineer, you'll join a product-driven team working on TypeScript-based stack (React, React Native, Node.js). You'll be responsible for building new features, designing solutions, developing data pipelines, and maintaining high code quality through testing and reviews. The role offers significant autonomy in product decisions and technical implementations.

The company values work-life balance and has a strong travel-focused culture, with twice-annual travel offsites. They serve millions of travelers monthly and are a self-sustaining startup. The position offers competitive compensation ($70K-$100K) with equity (0.10%-0.25%) and the flexibility of remote work while maintaining some timezone overlap with the Americas.

The founders bring extensive experience from companies like Stripe, McKinsey, and Google, and have previously built successful travel-related products. They're looking for candidates who combine technical skills with a passion for travel and product development, making this an ideal opportunity for new graduates who want to make a significant impact in the travel technology space.
