Description For Full-Stack Software Engineer (New & recent graduates: United States)

Wanderlog is an innovative travel planning platform founded by twin brothers Peter Xu and Harry Yu in 2019. The company has grown to serve millions of travelers monthly with a lean team of 8 members, including 7 engineers from prestigious institutions.

As a Full-Stack Software Engineer, you'll be deeply involved in product development, working with a modern tech stack including TypeScript, React, React Native, and Node.js/Express. You'll build new features for both web and mobile platforms, design data pipelines, and contribute to the company's technical infrastructure.

Key projects include developing user-friendly hotel booking interfaces, AI-powered content analysis tools, mobile app performance optimization, and enhanced collaboration features. The role requires strong JavaScript skills, product mindset, and passion for travel.

The company culture emphasizes work-life balance, with regular team lunches and twice-annual travel offsites. Wanderlog is a self-sustaining, default-alive startup that values putting travelers first, end-to-end product ownership, and smart, fast execution.

The founders bring extensive experience from companies like Stripe, McKinsey, and Google, and have previously built successful travel-related products. The company's mission is to make leisure travel more accessible, believing that travel broadens horizons and builds empathy.

The hiring process includes an asynchronous programming challenge, coding interviews, and a full-day virtual onsite. This is an excellent opportunity for new graduates to join a growing, engineering-driven team that's passionate about improving the travel experience for millions of users.
