Description For Full-Stack Software Engineer (New & recent graduates: United States)

Wanderlog is building tools to make leisure travel easier through their top-ranked trip planning app. Founded by twin brothers Peter Xu and Harry Yu, the company has grown to serve millions of travelers monthly. The team consists of 8 members, including 7 engineers from prestigious institutions and 1 designer.

As a Full-Stack Software Engineer, you'll be responsible for:

  • Building new features using Javascript (Typescript), React, React Native, and Node.js/Express
  • Designing and deciding what features to build based on traveler needs
  • Creating data pipelines for web crawling and data processing
  • Writing tests and maintaining engineering infrastructure
  • Debugging, fixing bugs, and scaling systems
  • Reviewing code and collaborating with team members

The ideal candidate should:

  • Be proficient in Javascript with React/React Native experience
  • Have end-to-end product building experience
  • Be adaptable with various technologies (Redis, Elasticsearch, Python)
  • Have an entrepreneurial mindset
  • Be passionate about travel
