Warner Music Group (WMG) is seeking a Senior Software Quality Engineer for their Engineering Productivity Team. This role requires a strong background in software development and a keen interest in enhancing engineering productivity. The successful candidate will collaborate with cross-functional teams to create automated test frameworks, tools, systems, and processes that enhance the efficiency, effectiveness, and overall productivity of the development process.
Key responsibilities include:
- Developing and maintaining test automation frameworks and tools
- Enhancing CI/CD pipelines
- Implementing strategies for code quality and automated testing
- Performance tuning of development and deployment processes
- Creating clear documentation for tools and processes
- Collaborating with key music industry stakeholders and colleagues across the U.S. and Canada
The ideal candidate will have:
- A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field
- 6+ years of test automation experience (Python, TypeScript a plus)
- Experience with test automation frameworks (Playwright and Selenium preferred)
- Experience with unit, integration, and performance testing tools
- Experience building test frameworks and tools
- Experience with CI/CD optimization and test automation framework development
- Experience in Bazel or other build tools and deploying in AWS
- The ability to thrive in ambiguous and fast-paced environments
- A bias towards action and efficiency
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
