Senior Software Quality Engineer

Warner Music Group (WMG) is seeking a Senior Software Quality Engineer for their Engineering Productivity Team. This role requires a strong background in software development and a keen interest in enhancing engineering productivity. The successful candidate will collaborate with cross-functional teams to create automated test frameworks, tools, systems, and processes that enhance the efficiency, effectiveness, and overall productivity of the development process.

Key responsibilities include:

• Developing and maintaining test automation frameworks and tools
• Enhancing CI/CD pipelines
• Implementing strategies for code quality and automated testing
• Performance tuning of development and deployment processes
• Creating clear documentation for tools and processes
• Collaborating with key music industry stakeholders and colleagues across the U.S. and Canada

The ideal candidate will have:

• A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field
• 6+ years of test automation experience (Python, TypeScript a plus)
• Experience with test automation frameworks (Playwright and Selenium preferred)
• Experience with unit, integration, and performance testing tools
• Experience building test frameworks and tools
• Experience with CI/CD optimization and test automation framework development
• Experience in Bazel or other build tools and deploying in AWS
• The ability to thrive in ambiguous and fast-paced environments
• A bias towards action and efficiency
• Strong teamwork and communication skills
• Excitement about the music business and helping artists and songwriters grow
