WaveStrong, Inc. is seeking a Remote Encryption Engineer (HSM) for a 6-month contract opportunity. This role requires expertise in deploying encryption managers across various cloud environments, including VMware, Azure, AWS, and Google Cloud. The ideal candidate will have experience with HSM, Luna, Ciphertrust, ProtectDB, Protectapp, and key management systems.
The engineer will serve as a technical point of contact for customer deployments and mentor other team members. They will provide training, knowledge transfer, and deliver strong product and professional services presentations to diverse audiences.
Key responsibilities include:
- Deploying encryption solutions in various cloud and on-premises environments
- Providing guidance on network design best practices
- Mentoring team members and conducting training sessions
- Presenting technical solutions to internal and external stakeholders
Required skills:
- Proficiency in cloud environments (AWS, Azure, VMware)
- Experience with virtualization technologies (VMware, Xen, KVM, Docker)
- Knowledge of Active Directory, PowerShell, NTFS administration, and group policy
- Understanding of firewalls, routing tables, and Cisco systems
- Familiarity with cloud and on-premises application security, including PKI
- Experience with Authentication and Identity management solutions
- Expertise in Two-Factor Authentication, RADIUS, SAML, and LDAP

- Function as technical point of contact for customer deployments

Requirements For Remote Encryption Engineer (HSM)
- Experience with deploying encryption manager on VMware, Hypervisor, Azure, AWS, Google Cloud environments
- Experience in HSM, Luna, Ciphertrust, ProtectDB, Protectapp, Key Management, etc
- Basic network skillset (static, DHCP, VLANs, Bonding)
- Experience with Active Directory, PowerShell, NTFS administration and group policy administration
- Experience with virtualization – VMWare, Xen, KVM and/or Docker
- Experience with cloud environments (AWS, Azure, VMWare)
- Experience with firewalls and routing tables. Cisco experience a plus
- Understanding of cloud technologies and on-prem application security, including public key infrastructures
- Knowledge of Authentication and Identity management solutions
- Experience with Two Factor Authentication using one-time passcode
- Understanding of RADIUS authentication
- Experience with SAML Authentication - Identity Provider – Service Provider
- Experience with traditional user directories, AD, Sun Directory, etc.
- Experience with LDAP Configuration, deployment and consumption of services
