Description For Senior Machine Learning Engineer

Wayve, established in 2017, is a leader in autonomous vehicle technology driven by breakthroughs in Embodied AI. We're seeking an experienced Machine Learning Engineer to join our dynamic team in London. In this role, you'll collaborate closely with our research team to develop, integrate, test, and scale cutting-edge algorithms, tools, and machine learning solutions for autonomous driving.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Designing and implementing end-to-end neural networks for autonomous driving applications
  • Rapidly prototyping and iterating on novel machine learning models
  • Optimizing models for efficiency and performance in real-world scenarios
  • Developing and maintaining robust machine learning infrastructure
  • Evaluating emerging technologies and methodologies
  • Leveraging analytical approaches for qualitative and quantitative insights
  • Maintaining high-quality training data through advanced visualization and analysis
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to integrate ML solutions

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of postgraduate industry experience training and deploying large-scale models
  • Strong foundation in machine learning and deep learning
  • Advanced knowledge of model compression, quantisation, distillation, parallelism, and pruning techniques
  • Strong programming skills in Python, with experience in deep learning frameworks like PyTorch
  • Excellent teamwork and communication skills
