Responsibilities For Software Engineer, Data Platform

  • Build the Wayve data platform for data ingestion, labelling, storage, curation and analysis
  • Quality control and validation of datasets
  • Labelling, enrichment and augmentation of data at scale using thousands of GPUs
  • Orchestration of data processing and machine learning workloads
  • Work across functions with ML research engineers, simulation engineers, and safety drivers

Requirements For Software Engineer, Data Platform

Python
Kubernetes
  • 7+ years professional experience within Software Engineering and/or Data Engineering
  • Proficiency in Python
  • Knowledge of software engineering practices
  • Experience working with concurrent, parallel and distributed computing
  • Experience building reliable data pipelines to handle large data sets
  • Experience with cloud infrastructure, preferably Azure
  • Experience working with data processing technologies (Databricks/Apache Spark, Apache Beam, Airflow or Flyte)
