Security Engineer

Wealthfront is seeking a Security Engineer to join their growing fintech organization. This role offers the flexibility of being U.S.-based remote or located in Palo Alto, CA. As a Security Engineer, you'll be crucial in maintaining and enhancing the security infrastructure that protects customer trust.

The position involves configuring and automating security tools, partnering with various engineering teams to implement security best practices, and staying current with emerging security threats. You'll be responsible for incident response, creating security playbooks, and evangelizing security policies across the organization.

The ideal candidate brings 4+ years of engineering experience, with strong knowledge of AWS security tools and automation capabilities. You should be comfortable communicating with leadership and coordinating security responses to threats. Experience with programming languages like Go, Python, or Java is valuable, as is familiarity with infrastructure automation tools.

This role offers competitive compensation ($140,000 - $160,000 USD) plus equity and bonus potential.
