As a Security Engineer at webAI, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining robust security solutions that protect our systems, networks, and data in a hybrid cloud/edge environment. Your primary focus will be on defensive security measures, utilizing cutting-edge tools and technologies to detect, prevent, and respond to security incidents. While knowledge of offensive security tactics, such as hacking and penetration testing, is beneficial, your role will primarily emphasize protective actions.

- Certifications: CISSP, CEH, CISM, or GIAC preferred but not required

Responsibilities For Security Engineer
- Design and implement security solutions to protect network infrastructures, systems, and applications
- Monitor, detect, and analyze security threats and incidents in real time
- Lead and coordinate incident response efforts
- Conduct regular security assessments, audits, and vulnerability scans
- Stay informed about the latest security threats and implement proactive measures
- Collaborate with other departments to integrate security into system and software development

Requirements For Security Engineer
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field
- 3+ years of experience in a security engineering role with focus on defensive security
- Proficiency with security tools such as SIEM, IDS/IPS, firewalls, and anti-malware solutions
- Experience with security frameworks such as NIST, ISO 27001, or CIS Controls
- Strong understanding of network security principles, encryption methods, and authentication protocols
- Familiarity with cloud security (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and container security
- Problem-solving skills
