At Webflow, our mission is to bring development superpowers to everyone. We are the leading visual development platform for building powerful websites without writing code. By combining modern web development technologies into one platform, Webflow enables people to build websites visually, saving engineering time, while clean code seamlessly generates in the background.
The Enterprise Workflows team at Webflow builds and maintains collaboration features that support the needs of larger teams. We work to ensure teams can build and launch sites swiftly without compromising on quality or security. As a Senior Backend Engineer on this team, you'll play a crucial role in architecting and implementing scalable multi-tenant backend services and APIs.
You'll work with cutting-edge technologies such as Node.js, TypeScript, MongoDB, GraphQL, Apollo, and various AWS services. Your responsibilities will include leading projects, contributing to functional strategy, and producing high-quality, maintainable code. You'll also have the opportunity to mentor junior engineers and participate in engineering citizenship activities.
We're looking for someone with 5+ years of experience in developing and deploying web applications, with a strong background in Node.js and TypeScript. You should be comfortable debugging production issues across services and have experience building complex web systems. Familiarity with testing frameworks like Jest or Mocha is a plus.
At Webflow, we offer a competitive compensation package, including equity ownership in a growing company. We provide comprehensive healthcare coverage, flexible PTO, and support for professional growth through stipends and learning programs. Our culture values customer obsession, moving with urgency, and making your mark on the industry.
Join us in our mission to empower everyone to create for the web, and be part of a team that's revolutionizing the way websites are built. If you're passionate about backend engineering and want to work in an innovative, fast-paced environment, we'd love to hear from you!
