Webflow, the leading visual development platform for building powerful websites without coding, is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join their Applied AI team. This role is crucial in developing generative AI-powered features that enhance the speed, creativity, and quality of website building. As part of Webflow's mission to bring development superpowers to everyone, you'll work directly with product and ML engineers, product managers, and designers to implement AI solutions that improve the user experience.

Key responsibilities include staying current with AI/ML ecosystem advancements, integrating third-party AI APIs, making decisions with incomplete information, and collaborating closely with product and design teams. You'll also be instrumental in establishing best practices for prompt engineering, experimentation, and quality assessments in LLM-powered applications.

The ideal candidate brings 5+ years of full-stack, product-focused software engineering experience, with at least 1 year of hands-on experience in AI/ML technologies. Proficiency in JavaScript and/or TypeScript is essential, along with a strong understanding of large language models, vector databases, and Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG). You should be passionate about fast iteration, problem-solving, and thriving in collaborative environments.

Webflow offers a competitive compensation package, including equity ownership, comprehensive health benefits, flexible PTO, and various wellness stipends. The base salary range for this U.S. remote position is $158,000 - $218,000, depending on geographic location and experience.
